Servemet (North West) LtdFollowing on from the success of Service Metals Leeds, it was decided that the company should expand in to other areas of the country, leading to the opening of the Oldham branch, Servemet (NW) Ltd.The branch opened in 1980 with John Cullen the Managing Director and Howard Webb as a Director. Peter Brady later joined the company and is now a Director and Barry Cullen joined in 1983 as Warehouse Manager. |

The business flourished and continues to do so due to the commitment of the staff, most of whom have been with the company now for over 15 years. Our experienced sales team, headed by Howard Webb, consists of Executives Rob Lees and Wayne Cornick, with Dave Fraser and Neal Murray as our Field Sales Executives. Claire Reeves is Purchasing Assistant to Peter Brady and Lisa Bryan is our Credit Controller whose success in this field has lead to her taking on the credit control for a number of other branches within the group. Our Reception and Administration Staff are Sue Nickson and Jenny Alexiuk. Our fruition is attributed to the support of our long standing customers, many of whom have taken advantage of the bespoke design service and experience in bodybuilding which we offer, together with our excellent delivery service throughout the North West. As our customer base was established as far afield as Bedfordshire, our accomplishment lead to the opening of a third branch in the Midlands, Service Metals (Midlands) Ltd. with Ian Baugh as Managing Director until his untimely death in 1994. With the ascendancy of the group in the South of England it was decided to head North of the border, leading to the opening of Service Metals (North) Ltd. in Cumbernauld, headed by Colin Kirby, formerly a member of the Servemet (NW) Ltd team.
